A police officer was shot and wounded Friday at a gas station in suburban Atlanta, authorities said blitz brigade hack.
The officer was shot in the upper left shoulder shortly before 4 p.m. in Tucker, according to DeKalb County director of public safety Cedric Alexander. Two suspects have been taken into custody, he said.
Alexander said the officer was in stable condition at Grady Memorial Hospital. He added that the 20-year veteran officer was alert and conscious.
Authorities identified the suspects late Friday as Rome Crow, 21, and Isiah McCray, 24. Both suspects face charges of aggravated assault on a police officer and felony obstruction.
Alexander said the officer tried to pull over the suspects’ vehicle as part of a gun-running investigation. He said when the officer turned on the patrol car’s blue light, the vehicle sped off and the officer began to chase it freeminecraftpremiumaccount.com.
Alexander said the vehicle ultimately crashed into a wall in front of a gas station. He said the two suspects jumped out of the vehicle and ran across the parking lot, and the officer chased them before gunshots were fired.
Alexander said police believe one of the suspects fired an automatic weapon at the officer.
Crow was caught onsite, police said. McCray fled into a wooded area around the gas station before being captured with the help of a K-9 unit.
